Not much packing got done yesterday but some organization of scrapbooking took place. But then I decided to start making my Christmas cards so that organization is, well all over the living room. But now everything has a home. LOL I am so excited to get my Christmas cards done and sent out. I think they are really cute and different!
Last night Jerold and I actually got to spend some time together so we rented Iron Man 2. It was good. I liked the first one much better but then I was so confused with this one at first and the whole thing with his father. So, I am going to watch Iron Man 1 again, then Iron Man 2. Then I should be good. I know, it is a Wendy thing I have had it all my life. LOL But it was really nice just being able to sit and spend time with Jerold and not be running all over the place.
Today, Jerold is at work, so I have lots of things in-store for me to do. I will have college football on, all day, especially to catch the sacred University of Utah TCU football game. GO UTES! But there will be some packing, making Christmas cards, quilting, and homework. Oh, and laundry. YUCK!
I guess I better get to it!

Should be Day 4 of packing
Okay, so it really should be Day 4 of packing but truth be told we have not done anything since Day 1 or should I say Night 1 of packing. I just look at everything and find something much more fun to do like: homework, Facebook, blogging, scrapbooking, quilting, and then from doing this I just plain don't feel well so it does not get done even at night.
Jerold is so busy with work and school I hardly get to see him and the cats really miss him. I guess this is what I get to look forward to when we move. Hopefully he will only be working one job instead of running all over the place and he will have a better schedule. One can hope :) His schedule on Tuesdays is get up go to school, go straight to work and then go right back to school. He gets to come home about 9:30 at night and eat dinner. On Mondays it is his lucky day because he gets out of work early and only has to do dry cleaning at night so that is our day for all my doctor appointments. Too much fun for him. But we know all this will pay off in the end.
November 2nd was a big day and I did not get to blog that day. I want to wish my Grandma Nisky a Happy Birthday! She was so lucky to have her birthday clouded by the elections. NOT!
Then we had the elections! It was great to be able to go out and vote and see the turn out to be so high this year, especially with it being a non-presidential election year. I must say I was pretty happy with the results and hope that with some of the power changes that our government can work together. We need a balance of power, not more from one side or the other but a harmony between the two. I think this election has moved us this way, now we will have to see and hopefully be involved if my health will let me.

Starting a new Project for our new Adventure: Day 1 of Packing
I thought it would be kind of fun to blog about me and Jerold's new adventure of moving to Ogden for him to go to school. We think it will be a great experience but we will miss our kids and grandkids a lot. We probably will drive to Gunnison as much as we did to Salt Lake. We are looking forward to this part of our life the part that we kind of did out of order, but don't regret one bit.
Well today starts the countdown before our apartment is ready to move into in Ogden. The apartment will be ready for us on December 1st. We may not be ready but it will. We are planning on doing a gradual move in so we can spend Christmas down in Gunnison and see our new granddaughter that is due at the same time. This evening I started taking pictures down and packing them up in boxes. It is so weird to see bare walls in places that had the kids' pictures up.
The apartment we are moving into will allow us to take our 5 cats. It has a small kitchen but has 2 bedrooms so we can have visitors. It is in a better part of Ogden and is like a block from campus if even that. We are right next to the Dee Event Center. We are going to be on the top floor so we don't have to worry about noise. Oh, yeah we also have a deck.
